During last week's snowstorm, some pranksters stomped the word "Fag" or "Faggots" in the snow at Evanston Township High School.

At least that is what we think the word was, but we can't know for sure because, in the leftist quasi-religious orthodoxy, the word - whatever it was - was too unspeakable to utter or print in doctrinaire, "progressive" Evanston.

The Daily Northwestern in its crack coverage of the event found the word too unspeakable to convey in print to its leftist-programmed readers, lest they be tainted by impure thoughts.

So they just reported that, "An anti-gay slur" was stomped in the snow. We're just presuming it was "Fags" or "Faggots." We figure it can't have been "Queers" because homosexuals themselves have embraced that term. They actually have a group that proudly calls itself "Queer Nation."

But it seems that mockery of homosexuals in Evanston has become a secular sacrilege -- kind of like taking the Lord's name in vain at a Mississippi Southern Baptist summer camp.

And judging from ETHS Superintendent, Eric Witherspoon's response, this boot-printed message in the snow is the crime of the century.

This overpaid educratic boob, who pulls down a cool quarter of a million bucks a year of the taxpayers' money, likened the prank to "painting a swastika on a synagogue," and said it "could warrant a hate crime investigation."

 He then urged his compliant little student sheep to go out into the snow and stomp out the word "love," which they obediently did.

Now this raises several logical problems.

If the act of stomping messages in the snow on ETHS grounds is a crime, which can be upgraded to a "hate crime" if it offends some privileged, protected class, why was the ETHS superintendent urging students to criminally stomp a nice, lovey-dovey message in the snow?

And if snow stomping is not a crime, how can it become a hate crime?

And if snow stomping a message deemed insulting to homosexuals at ETHS is like painting a swastika on a Jewish synagogue -- doesn't that mean that Evanston Township High School is a living symbol of homosexuality the same way that a synagogue is a living symbol of Judaism?

So apparently the insightful Superintendent Witherspoon views his educational fiefdom in Evanston as being a veritable monument to homosexuality.

Why is this? Did Witherspoon take a personal survey of the sexual inclinations of  his 3,155 students and find them to be preponderantly of the lavender inclination? Where did the manly Witherspoon conduct this survey - in the boys locker room?

Or perhaps Mr. Witherspoon  just got carried away with his near religious devotion to the leftist catechism of "diversity."

Perhaps Witherspoon is more interested in being a self-appointed,  Orwellian prosecutor of "thought crimes," -- which in the final analysis is what so-called "hate crimes" actually are.

Or perhaps the overpaid Mr. Witherspoon has no more a grasp of simple logic than an addle brained goose.

Last Friday, black thug Alton Hayes III and his black teen sidekick robbed and beat a white kid senseless in Oak Park because they were upset with the Trayvon Martin case. The two were exercising black racial revenge indiscriminately against any random "white boy," as they called their victim.

At the very same moment, a dimwitted Northwestern University undergrad by the name of Dan Camponovo, who bears an uncanny resemblence to Flounder from the classic movie Animal House , was agonizing on the pages of the Daily Northwestern over the racism inherent in the term, "shady."

If you need further proof that the leftist academy has entirely lost its mind, just take a look at the imbecilic maunderings of this white boy Camponovo.

Young Camponovo was aghast when he overheard a person on the El refer to the area around White Sox park as a "shady neighborhood."

The sensitive NU lad somehow conjured up the notion that "shade" was somewhere in the misty past a pejorative term for negroes, hence in Camponovo's new PC world, we can no longer use the term shady without causing great offense.

I guess you can then add that to the term "niggardly." A Maryland teacher was fired for using that proper English word, derived from the Nordic, hnøggr, meaning stingy, during a discussion of school funding.

Proper English be damned, the PC catechism takes precedence!

Lithuanians on the Southwest side used to refer to blacks as "smokes." So I guess Camponovo and his co-religionists will now mount a crusade to purge our language of the use of smoke, smokey and smoke-filled room.

Heaven knows the psychic agony that use of such words could cause to tender African-American sensibilities.

At least as much as the physical agony suffered by an innocent white kid who was robbed and beaten within an inch of his life by two black racists -- egged on by the likes of malevolent knucklebrains like the Daily Northwestern's Camponovo.

There they go again. I'm talking about the babes who run Northwestern University's Daily Northwestern -- the Big-10's only all-girl student newspaper.

It seems like these Medill journalism acolytes are devoted to reporting all the news, all the time, except when the criminal miscreants preying on Northwestern students happen to be black.

That little tidbit of information goes right down the NU Orwellian memory hole.

In last Monday's edition, on page 2, crack Daily Northwestern news sleuth, Susan Du, apprised the student body of the latest criminal assault on an NU student by the local toughs who populate the "other: Evanston.

"A Northwestern student standing on the porch of his apartment was robbed early Sunday morning... At approximately 1:20 a.m., four male teenagers walking on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue...grabbed the student's smart phone and fled westbound on Leon Place, the student told officers. Evanston and University Police were unable to locate the four teenagers, described as 16 to 17 years old and ranging from 5'7" to 5'10" tall.

The student could not offer a more detailed description of the teens, according to the notification."

HMMM. What's wrong with this picture?

How about the race of the assailants? Does the erudite Ms. Du mean to suggest to us that the victim was capable of reporting the precise heights and age range of these latest assailants yet was incapable of distinguishing the fact that they were, in fact, black?

This comes on the heels of a September 26th report in the Daily Northwestern about a white student who was pistol-whipped and robbed near campus, when they likewise neglected to report that the assailants were black.

So NU students, go ahead and live in your little Daily Northwestern induced PC fantasyland, if you like. As for me, I'm walking down another street when I see a gang of 4 black Evanston "youths" approaching.

And maybe also putting my hand around the grip of my concealed firearm.
